Swimming and Sheepshank Sam

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by mrssmits on 17-04-2009

On 4-16-09 Sheepshank Sam came and visited our school. He taught all of the 3rd and 4th graders about lumberjacks and we even got to use a saw. It took half of the day to tell us about the history of lumberjacks and after lunch we went outside and used the saws and real antique lumberjack tools.

On 4-17-09 I got to go swimming again. First we warmed up for ten minutes. Then we had freetime and I played basketball with Bruce,Michael, Nolan, Kolten, and Elliott. Me, Bruce, and Michael won 20 to 18. After that I went on the lilypads and made a record speed going across. Last, I was the last one to go on the slide. After that we had to change and go. :)

Wow! That is a huge saw! Was it difficult to pull it back and forth?

Good job on getting the lilypad record time!
